Foxtrick does not upload your personal data or preferences to its own servers, nor does it share your private information—including usernames, passwords, or game data with third parties, except in the specific cases outlined below.
1. Hattrick CHPP API Integration
Foxtrick uses Hattrick’s official CHPP (Certified Hattrick Product Program) API to send and receive game data. This data exchange occurs directly between the extension and Hattrick’s official servers.
2. External Links and URI Data
When you click an external link provided by the extension, Foxtrick may append URL parameters (such as playerId or teamId) to provide relevant context to the destination site. These are sent via the HTTP GET method, and you can verify exactly what data is being transmitted by inspecting the URI (address) of the link. No such data is sent without your direct action.
3. Functional Module Exceptions
To provide specific features, the following modules transmit data automatically via background requests (using the fetch API):
- Hattrick Youth Club Integration: Transmits youth team data to the Hattrick Youth Club service to sync and display your youth academy progress.
- HTMSPrediction: Sends match ratings to the HTMS site to retrieve and display match predictions.
- MercattrickStats: Sends player IDs from transfer search results to provide market statistics and valuations.
4. Analytics and Error Reporting
To help us improve the extension and fix bugs, Foxtrick may collect the following:
- Anonymised Analytics: We may send limited, non-identifiable usage data to understand how the extension is being used.
- Error Reporting: If the extension encounters a bug, debugging data is sent to a third-party logging service.
